The Maverick GTW is a gauntlet with a 4" cuff, the gloves are lined with Thinsulate, a soft lightweight insulated liner with a Sympatex insert. The Sympatex insert is sewn between the Thinsulate and the leather to provide weatherproof and waterproof protection.
